Before I purchased my vehicle from the Buckhead Mercedes in Atlanta, Georgia, the service team almost always blamed the other dealership for the very minor problems with the vehicle. Fast forward 10 years, I’m now in a low mileage previously owned but Certified Previously-Owned Vehicle (PCV). I purchased this vehicle from the Mercedes Benz Buckhead in Atlanta. My expectations are high because this has been the dealership of choice for several years and cars. However, there are still very minor issues with the 2022 GL300 that I purchased from the very nice salesman at the Buckhead Mercedes Benz dealership. Guess what? The service team and the salesman at the Buckhead location still find ways to NOT acknowledge the very minor car issues as items the service team or inspectors should have caught and repaired in the inspection before the next owner. The service team and the sales team (both find it difficult to acknowledge possible flaws in their service and inspection of vehicles. My experience with the Mercedes Benz Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia has been professional at all times. But they live by the mantra that the customer must always pay even if we missed the issues in the inspection. This was the same attitude under the previous owners (Baranco) and now the new owners, Group 1. As a business woman, my mantra is measure twice and cut one time to minimize your problems and losses. I missed it on this purchase. . With Mercedes Benz Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia, my advice to all buyers on new or previously owned is to get your own inspection after you purchase the vehicle and get a copy of the inspection by the dealership in writing. The Buckhead Mercedes Benz does not stand by the 100% customer service relationship after you drive off the lot. I don’t want anything for free but I do want fairness, honesty, and excellent customer service. Now that’s my true story and I have proof to this statement. I will buy another Mercedes Benz GLC 300 SUV but get the car inspected by “my own” certified mechanic (not Mercedes Benz) even if the car is designated as Certified Pre-owned Vehicle.~ Connie
